Check out those diapers!  I found them at Target and couldn't pass them up!  They are little elf pants.  Super cute- especially on a super cute baby!

Benjamin just loved this microphone!  And he loves his Aunt DeDe, too!

Amber and I got fur coats for Christmas from MawMaw and I can't wait to wear mine on New Year's Eve.

Christmas Eve Day

Here are our adventures during the day on Christmas Eve.  I took SO many pictures that I have to break it up into several posts.  During the day on Christmas Eve we played outside, Matt went fishing, and we helped MawMaw make sure that every detail was perfect.

Christmas Eve Eve

We went to Galveston to Ben's Great Grandmother's (MawMaw) house for Christmas this year.  We went down on Monday night because 1. we had a ton of stuff to bring down and 2. to avoid the traffic.  Ben slept most of the way down since it was his bed time when we left but he woke up as soon as we got to MawMaw's and was ready for round 2!

Aunt Matt had bought a microphone that plays Christmas music and that you can sing into for Christmas Eve and Ben just loved it!

We were all pretty hungry by the time we got there so we went to this great little Italian restaurant, Sapori and it was delicious!  The best part is that Ben loved the food, too!  As I said before, we have been trying to give him table food whenever possible but he has been quite picky.  He couldn't get enough of the lasagna and eggplant pasta though at Sapori. Definitely a win in my book! Tomorrow- our Christmas Eve adventures!





Zoo Lights!

Saturday we went to the zoo for Zoo Lights. It opens at 6:00 which is Ben's bed time but despite being ready for bed, I think he had a great time!  There were so many people and it is a good thing we got there right at 6:00 because as we were leaving at 7:30 the line of cars was so long!

They had great light displays throughout the zoo, hot chocolate, smores, carolers, a choir, and lots of old toy machines on display.

What a great weekend!  Ben got to meet Santa for the first time, Mrs. Clause, too!  Sunday morning we went to have breakfast with Santa with GiGi, Poppy, Auntie A, and Great Aunt Matt at the Downtown Aquarium.  Ben wasn't scared of the big guy but he wasn't too sure of him either, he just stared at Santa and Mrs. Clause.  It was such a fun morning and after breakfast we rode the train through the Shark Voyage.  Definitely a fun morning!  Here are the pictures from my IPhone, I have to scan the pictures with Santa so check back tomorrow for those.
