Birthday Party Fun

Saturday we celebrated Avery's birthday at Jumping Jungle. We have never been before but it is a really neat place and Benjamin had so much fun!

Preschool 1

Benjamin officially moved up to Preshool 1 at school and he is loving all of the new and exciting things he is learning. The biggest difference in Preschool 1 and Get Set is now he has a daily math and science lesson which he is enjoying so much. Like I have always said, this guy is our little engineer, always building, creating, and questioning!

 

 

 
 
 

Weekend Recap

Our good friends from Lafayette, Brandt and Danielle and their 2 girls Cate and Ellen, came in for the weekend and it was super busy but super fun filled! 

Thomas was already asleep so he didn't get in on the slumber party fun but he was well rested for a fun Saturday! And Benjamin loved playing with Cate and Ellen and was so excited when he woke up Saturday morning and they were still at our house! 

Saturday was TopGolf and everyone had a blast.

Followed by lots of playing on the swing set and Gator rides around the neighborhood. 

 

In the early evening we went to Texas Beer Refinery, a brewery by our house, and Thomas enjoyed his first French fry! And he loved every bite followed by many more fries!  Saturday night we had a slumber party and the 3 big kids loved all laying on the couch and watching movies. Sunday was more fun with a day at Kemah and lunch at Tookies!

Updates

Wondering what we have been up to?? Well, the stomach flu hit our house and hit it hard. Poor baby Thomas had the stomach flu for 4 days which meant extra snuggles for Mommy during the day since we were home together and then day 2 into Thomas's flu it hit me hard. Luckily by Friday we were both feeling back to ourselves. Needless to say, I didn't post much on the blog last week because all I did was sleep, do laundry and Lysol the house. And since tonight is Oscars Sunday, here's a picture from the weekend and I'll be back to regular posting tomorrow.

Okay, so I realize this is a little late, but I found these pictures on the big camera and thought they were so cute.  I guess I forgot to upload them after Christmas.

It is so hard to get a good photo of both of them looking at the camera.  Even with all the bribery.  Oh well, I still love these photos.

10 Months!

"What's this Mama?"  Oh just your 10 MONTH sticker, sweet boy.

"Me?  10 Months?"  Yes, sweet boy, 10 whole months and I can't even believe it.

Well, here we are guys.  Double digits.  I am already starting to plan Thomas's first birthday and am wondering where the last 10 months have gone.  Gone are the days of late night nursing sessions when it was just me and my baby in the quiet of the night.  Gone are the days of nuzzling you in my chest in the still of the night.  But oh what fun we are having now.  Thomas is the happiest, most adventurous baby.  He is aware of everything and is so so curious.  He is cruising along anything and everything and is even standing on his own for a few minutes.  Talking.  Oh is Thomas talking.  He says Mama, Dada, Baba, and even a few of his friends names at school like Emma.  He babbles and babbles all day long and will scream at the top of his lungs to get our attention.  This mainly happens when he gets in the high chair because he wants his food and he wants it right then.  Thomas is a fantastic eater and we are trying new table foods everyday.  So far his favorites are macaroni and cheese, cheese, and bananas.  He is doing great with a sippy cup as well.  He loves puffs and really anything that he can chew on right now to make his teeth feel better.  He has 3 teeth, 2 on the bottom and 1 that just broke through on top.  Thomas takes 2 naps during the day, generally around 9 and 1 or 2 and goes down around 6:15 and wakes up around 6:15.  He is the sweetest baby and smiles at anyone and everyone.  He is so happy and no one can make him laugh harder than his big brother.  And oh does he loves his big brother.  It really is special to see the interaction between the two of them.  Thomas loves to play patty cake and will start giggling before you even tickle his belly.  He loves music and playing patty cake and peek a boo.  Thomas started clapping about 2 weeks ago and now he loves to clap and cheer for everything.  It is so cute.  He has started waving bye bye and says "buh bye."  It is the sweetest.  Thomas is the happiest, cuddliest, snuggliest, baby and I could just eat him up.  Happy 10 months sweet baby boy, we love you so so much.
