Still 3

A few weeks ago we went down to Maw Maw's to spend the day and she surprised Benjamin with a birthday cake so we could celebrate his birthday together.  He was very excited about the cake and he keeps telling us that he is still 3! Silly boy!

Aunt Matt joined us for the fun, too! And Thomas even had his first taste of cake and ice cream and to say he liked it is an understatement. He was reaching and leaning right in for that ice cream! 

Weekend Fun

We read lots of books and played with toys...

Rode the Gator all around the neighborhood...

Thomas practiced with finger foods which he is getting better and better at grabbing...

We played in the sand box...

And had fun on the slide!  An all around great weekend!

Thomas is pulling up and crusing around everything! He is determined to walk and run with his big brother!

GiGi and Popi's

A few weekends ago Benjamin went to stay at GiGi and Popi's for the night.  They went to the Winter Lights event at Sam Houston racetrack and had the best time.

And had a delicious breakfast of waffles, which Benjamin said he had never had before! Silly boy! 

Benjamin loves to stay at GiGi and Popi's! They always have new toys and he loves to take Harley on walks. 

9 Months!

On Saturday Thomas turned 9 months old!  The last 9 months have been some of the best and each day just gets better and better.  Thomas is constantly on the move now and much prefers to be on the floor crawling and moving around than in my arms.  He is the fastest crawler and can get anywhere he wants to go in no time and is already starting to pull up on the furniture.  I know he can't wait to be able to chase big brother around!  Thomas babbles and screams all day long and some of his favorite words are "da da," "ba ba," and my most favorite of all, "mama!"  That's right, Thomas has started to say "mama" and I am loving it!  Thomas is THE happiest baby and is never without a big sweet smile.  And he is the best cuddler.  He loves to snuggle up in your chest when you are holding him and gives the biggest kisses.  My little love bug.  A few of his favorite things right now are playing patty cake with Benjamin, his play table, and anything that he can bang around or put in his mouth.  Thomas is eating solid food 3 times a day and takes 4 bottles a day.  He continues to be a fantastic sleeper taking 2 naps a day, around 9 and 1, and going down for bed around 6:15.  The last 9 months have been nothing short of perfect and I don't see how life can get any better.

Happy Baby

I'm I am pretty sure that we have the happiest baby!

He is never without a smile and babbles and laughs all day long. I love our sweet Thomas J so much!
