Holiday Favorites

A few of my favorite pictures from the holidays before I post Christmas...

Brotherly love...

Benjamin has been working HARD on getting that ring finger up for the "Where is Thumbkin" song!" and he finally mastered it!

The gingerbread house that we made with our neighbors...

Benjamin made this sweet ornament for the Thanksgiving tree at school but I loved it so much it had to go on our Christmas tree.  His teacher asked him what he was thankful for and his response, "my Thomas."  The sweetest thing ever.

We spent time with Aunt Matt and GiGi and Popi...

Being silly in the car...

And cuddled up on the couch with Auntie to watch a movie.

Downtown Aquarium

We hope you had a very merry Christmas, I know we sure did and we have a lot to recap but first I wanted to share the pictures from the date Benjamin and I had to the Downtown Aquarium.

We had so much fun! We rode the train and the carousel 3 times each and saw the white tiger exhibit twice!  Such a fun day with my little love bug.

Christmas Program

Last week the boys had their Christmas program at school and it was adorable!  They sang the cutest Santa Clause song and they were so cute!

And Benjamin got to see Santa again! We didn't bring Thomas to see Santa again since he didn't care for him too much last time but we did make sure to tell Santa what is on Thomas's list!

8 Months!

On Wednesday Thomas turned 8 months old!  Can you believe it?!  I can't!  Thomas is getting so big, so fast!  He is thiiiiis close to crawling, he has gone forward with 1 arm and leg and I know once he figures out that if he moves the others he can go somewhere he will be on the move in no time.  Thomas continues to be a fantastic eater!  He takes a bottle 4 times a day and is eating food twice a day, usually late morning and early afternoon.  So far he has like everything that he has had, although, I don't think that peas and carrots are super high on his list of favorites!  The other day Benjamin gave Thomas a big piece of strawberry and he was just gumming away on it and he loved it!  Thomas is babbling all day long and his favorite word right now is "dada."  I know it won't be long before I get to hear "mama."  He loves patty cake and it is so cute to watch him clap his hands and smile.  And smile he does!  Thomas is THE happiest baby with the biggest, cutest, smile.  And he is the best snuggler.  He gives me the biggest hugs and open mouth kisses in the afternoon when I pick him up from school and I just love it.  Thomas's other favorite is his big brother, Benjamin.  These two love to play together and it is just the cutest.  Benjamin is so sweet with "his baby" always giving him kisses and sharing his toys or reading him books.  It is seriously the cutest.  And I know Thomas can't wait to be on the move and keeping up with his big brother.

Saturday Fun Day

Sunday isn't the only fun day! After breakfast with Santa we headed down to Galveston to visit MawMaw and the boys had so much fun.

Thomas got tons of lovin and Benjamin had all the treats he could eat!

Before we went to Breakfast with Santa Benjamin and I were trying to show Thomas how to crawl. He is thiiiiiis close to crawling, he moves 1 leg and hand forward but hasn't figured out that if he does both he will actually go somewhere. So while we were playing in Thomas's room, he decided that he wants to pull up on stuff as well! Slow down baby boy, Mama is not ready for you to get so big!

Breakfast with Santa

Our neighborhood hosted breakfast with Santa on Saturday and it was such a good time! They had hot chocolate with lots of toppings, different crafts for the kids to make such as ornaments and all the stuff you can imagine to make the perfect gingerbread houses.

Benjamin was super excited to see Santa, Thomas not so much!

Holiday in the Park

Last weekend we had the perfect weather so we headed to Holiday in the Park on Saturday.  We ran into Benjamin's friend, Livia, and they had so much fun visiting with Santa together.

Benjamin had his own conversation with Danta for about 10 minutes. He wanted to make sure that Santa knew where our house was. It was the cutest conversation. The police department hosted Santa, that's why he is blue. :)

Thomas enjoyed the festivities from his stroller and loved looking at everything going on, including watching big brother ride the carousel!

We also got to climb in a fire truck!

It was such a fun afternoon enjoying Chriatmas festivities. Saturday night was the parade but we skipped that since Thomas is asleep by 6:30.  Maybe next year we will catch the Christmas parade.

'Tis the Season

We kicked off the Christmas festivities the  Saturday after Thanksgiving with a visit to Acadian Village!

The boys got to see Santa! Benjamin was super excited to tell him that he wanted a train for Christmas and Thomas wasn't thrilled but didn't mind taking a picture- he knows what the Big Guy is all about!

Then Benjamin got to ride a train!

And the carousel

And we took a family picture under the twinkling lights. By this time it was already past Thomas's bedtime and he was pretty tired so we headed back to Nana and Pops house but I'd say it was a pretty successful way to start the Christmas season!

Christmas Picture Attempt

While we were in Louisiana I attempted to take a few pictures of the boys for Christmas and it was well you can see for yourself how they turned out...

I was hoping for one of both boys looking at the camera. I take partial responsibility for Thomas's tears since I forgot his shoes at the house and I'm pretty sure he didn't like the feeling of the ground. Oh well, they are still cute! 'This the season!
