Take Me Out to the Ballgame

We signed Benjamin up for t-ball and practice starts next week so we spent the weekend having fun outside and practicing hitting the ball.  Thomas loved to try and hit the ball.  He wants to do anything big brother is doing and with all the practice we got in this weekend,  he will be a pro by the time he is old enough to play! 

 

Touch-A-Truck

Whoa have we been busy!  School has started which accounts for the radio silence on the blog lately, but, we have had lots of fun things going on!  We had a play date with Benjamin's friend from school, Avery, who also happens to live in our neighborhood so we met at the pool to go swimming.  Our neighborhood lifestyle committee hosted a touch a truck at the pool the same day so we played in the trucks before swimming, which the boys loved. 

 
 
 

 
 
 
 

 
 

 

 

Outside Fun

It was hot, hot, hot but that didn't stop us from playing outside all weekend! 

Benjamin loves to drive Thomas around in the Gator and Thomas loves to admire and try everything Benjamin does.  Sweet brothers.
 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

School Days

The boys have officially started back to school although they haven't moved to their new classes for the school year,  they won't do that until school officially starts back on August 22nd, however,  they have been having lots of fun in their last few days in their current classrooms, First Steps for Thomas and Preschool 1 for Benjamin.

Japanese Gardens

We had a little side trip on our way to the beach last weekend and stopped off at the Japanese Gardens and let me tell you it was so pretty!  The boys wanted to see the koi fish but we ended up getting to see so much more like waterfalls and beautiful rock structures.

We also rose the train around the park which was a lot of fun as well because it had a lot of bridges and tunnels which the boys loved!  
 
 

 
 

Weekend Recap

We took one last family vacation and packed the car and headed to the beach before school starts.  This time we headed to Padre Island. 

When we checked into the hotel they gave the boys these cute sun glasses which they were excited about!

The boys loved swimming in the pools and drinking frozen drinks poolside...

Thomas loved everything about the beach!  And didn't even mind if his snacks fell in the sand,  he ate them anyway haha!

The Gym

Just a little weekend fun at the gym...

Thomas wasn't too sure about the trampoline but loved running around everywhere!  Benjamin, on the other hand, loved the trampoline!  Fun times at the gym!
