Weekend Recap

Our good friends from Lafayette, Brandt and Danielle and their 2 girls Cate and Ellen, came in for the weekend and it was super busy but super fun filled! 

Thomas was already asleep so he didn't get in on the slumber party fun but he was well rested for a fun Saturday! And Benjamin loved playing with Cate and Ellen and was so excited when he woke up Saturday morning and they were still at our house! 

Saturday was TopGolf and everyone had a blast.

Followed by lots of playing on the swing set and Gator rides around the neighborhood. 

 

In the early evening we went to Texas Beer Refinery, a brewery by our house, and Thomas enjoyed his first French fry! And he loved every bite followed by many more fries!  Saturday night we had a slumber party and the 3 big kids loved all laying on the couch and watching movies. Sunday was more fun with a day at Kemah and lunch at Tookies!

Draft Party Fun

Last weekend we hosted Matthew's fantasy football team's draft party at our house and it was a huge success!  I was a little worried because we had 9 adults and 4 kids spending the weekend but we had more than enough room for everyone and it was a super fun weekend!  Benjamin had a blast playing with all of his friends all weekend and we had a blast spending time with ours.  Friday night was the actual draft and Saturday we spent the afternoon at the pool and then Saturday evening just watching t.v., eating pizza and hanging out.  The only thing I am sad about is that I didn't get a group picture of everyone, there is always next year I suppose.

Draft party decorations, there were more green poufs but man were they a pain to fluff so only 2 ended up being hung up!

Matt started the food a little early so it would be ready when everyone was driving in from out of town, and Benjamin made sure his toys were all ready for his friends. 

The only group shot we managed to take and none of the husbands are in it.  And don't worry, Abbey's cup only has water in it and mine didn't have anything.  Here is to a great season of fantasy football and to bringing the trophy home to League City! 

Roller Coaster

After we played in the water table with Auntie A we came inside and Auntie A and Benjamin had fun playing in the plastic storage bin.  We have a long hallway and Benjamin loved having his Auntie push him up and down the hallway.

Fun in the Sun

I could not be happier that the cold weather is over and summer is finally here!  I am looking forward to many long days of sunshine, popsicles, and time at the pool.  Last weekend Auntie A came into town for Laura and Bobby's shower so before we headed to Galveston on Sunday we spent the afternoon playing outside in the water table. 

First Date!

A few weekends ago we had some very special visitors- our friends Jon and Sarah and their sweet baby Harper.  They had gone to San Antonio to cheer on UL at the Big Dance and stopped by our house on the way back to Lafayette.  It was so nice catching up while Benjamin and Harper played.  There is about a 6 month age difference between the two but they still played so well together!

These 2 didn't know it, but it was their "first date!"  =)

Baptism Part 2

Continuing on with the pictures from Ben's Baptism...

It was such a special day shared with family.  The pictures of Ben in his blue and white sweater are before the actual Baptism ceremony.  We had to dress Ben in a white onesie and then after the actual Baptism we put his Baptismal outfit on him.
