Back to School

School has officially started back for me =(  and I am already missing my days with Benjamin.  He had only been going to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the summer so Monday was an especially long day for him.   He was exhausted when I picked him up.  I am sure it will take a few weeks to fully adjust to the full week again but just knowing how much fun he has at school though makes it so much easier to be away from him all day. 



Who am I kidding?  Monday was an especially long day for ME!  I haven't seen 5AM in a long time and will definitely be going to be early tonight!

Hey Cupcake!

We made cupcakes yesterday afternoon so after dinner we tried them out.

I'd say they were pretty tasty!

Library

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at the library and Benjamin loved it!  The children's area was super cute with lots of big stuffed animals, which of course Benjamin loved, plastic ducks to sit on, and lots and lots of puzzles to play with. 

In a Pickle



Yes, that would be Benjamin sitting in the book case. Benjamin is quite the climber these days. On Monday afternoon we went to McDonald's for an ice cream cone and he was trying to climb over the booth. On Sunday afternoon we played with the neighbors at the park and Benjamin bolted for the big kid play structure and when I finally got to him he was half way up the big slides, via slide! I am definitely getting my exercise chasing this little monkey around everyday! 

Rainforest Cafe

As I told you yesterday, Saturday we spent the afternoon at the Rainforest Cafe and we all had a wildly good time!  We will definitely be going back very soon!

Then we spent the rest of the afternoon playing at MawMaw's house and eating chocolate.  

Dump Trucks and Legos

We had a pretty awesome weekend around here, Friday we played at the park or outside the majority of the day because the weather was just awesome and Saturday we spent the day with MawMaw furniture shopping and having fun at the Rainforest Cafe. 

Friday morning started off with dump trucks and legos, 2 favorites around here these days, especially the dump trucks!

Then we got dressed and headed outside to enjoy the gorgeous weather!

This is the view from our drive way, it is like heaven for Benjamin!  Sometimes we just stand in the drive way and watch the trucks.  We also like to watch their progress since this is the construction on the other side of our neighborhood and our new splash park and pavillion.



Lawn Boy

I'd say we have the cutest lawn boy in the neighborhood! 

And yet again I am reminded of how desperately I need a new phone with a MUCH better camera.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!  We are headed to the Children's Museum!
