The Beach Day 1

I have been needing to recap our Memorial Day weekend fun, so here goes.  Nana and Pops rented a beach house in Jamaica Beach and we all, our family and Uncle Scott, Aunt Heather, Madison, Uncle Elliott and Annah and Nana and Pops, enjoyed a long, restful weekend by the water.  I think this time I'll just let the pictures tell the story of our fun.

Friday we celebrated the end of the school year Hawaiin style with a luau at school.  

Ms. Chrissy and Ms. Eloisa made the classroom super festive with decorations and Hawaiin music.

Houston...

We have a walker!  

Thomas has been walking for about 2 weeks now, but really just a few steps here and there, however, he really got the hang of it over Memorial Day weekend and has been on the move ever since! 

Now that Thomas has found his groove he is unstoppable and is climbing and walking everywhere!
 
 
 

End of School

Well, school is officially out (last Thursday) and we have celebrated the long Memorial Day weekend at the beach, pictures to come soon, but first, some end of school pictures.  Last Monday Benjamin came to work with me and he thought it was so neat to get to see Mommy's "nudents" as he calls them.

I took him for his MRI that morning and rather than driving back to drop him at his school I just brought him to work with me.  

We will get the results of his MRI this Friday which will help us determine when is the best time for surgery.  
 
 

Weekend Recap

We had a fantastic weekend! 

Saturday morning Benjamin had a soccer game and he had his best game yet! 

We are so proud of him! He has really come a long way from the beginning when we had to talk him into going out on the field.  On Saturday he hustled after the ball and played the entire game without any whining.  In fact, he had such a great game he got the Team Ninja Turtle for the week!  It's the equivalent of a game ball. 

I love how excited he looks in this picture!  We are so proud of you Benjamin!  We spent Saturday afternoon celebrating Benjamin's great game at Grimaldi's and shopping for shoes, which shoe shopping was a total bust, but that's okay.

Thomas thoroughly enjoyed the pizza!  

On Sunday we decided to head to the pool and spend the afternoon splashing around. 

And then spent the afternoon playing outside.
