Benjamin celebrated Halloween at his school with a class party and trick or treating around the school. Matt made it home before I did and as I pulled into our driveway I spotted a very energetic little golfer running down the sidewalk.
Before we went trick or treating we celebrated Matt's birthday with cake and presents. Benjamin had been eyeing that cake since the morning and was a little upset that he had to wait for Matt to make a wish and blow out the candles.
But was a happy camper once he got his cake. Don't you love our fancy paper plates? Hey, who feels like doing dishes on Halloween?! Benjamin decided he needed to try my piece of cake just to make sure it wasn't something different than what he had. Once we finished cake we were off to trick or treat. Benjamin's costume came with this cute beret and golf shoes, and well, you can see how well the beret and shoes went over. The beret lasted 1 minute and the shoes never made it on his feet. That's okay though, he is still the cutest golfer on the course.
Benjamin loved trick or treating! His favorite part? Putting the candy in his bag. And boy did he load up on candy. The first house we went to were 2 older ladies and they just loved Benjamin. And he loved them too. He would blow them kisses and they just kept putting candy in his bag. Then he would wave and tell everyone bye bye. Halloween was definitely a scary success!
